UI Health releases 2019 Community Assessment of Needs Report
UI Health has performed three community health needs assessments in recent years. These 2013, 2016, and 2019 reports identify and prioritize the health needs in the communities we serve, and they include discussion of physical and mental health conditions, challenges in accessing care, and the social and economic factors that impact health. The 2019 report is a culmination of experiences in quantitative and qualitative research, strategic partnership, and service within the UI Health community.
UIC students, staff, and faculty are invited to submit descriptions of activities that address the social determinants of health, access to care, primary or secondary prevention of disease in Chicagoland communities.
