UIC Alumni Awards nominations

Nominations for the 2025 UIC Alumni Awards are now open until August 2, 2024. This is an excellent opportunity for alumni engagement and student-alumni connection, and we encourage you to nominate outstanding AHS alumni in your network. Nominations may be submitted by any member of the UIC community (faculty, staff, students, alumni). Awardees are honored in a special ceremony produced by the UIC Alumni Association.

Award Categories:

Rising Star Leadership Award - recognize upcoming leaders who have shown outstanding leadership skills and have initiated meaningful changes within their profession or communities, whether local, regional, national or global.

Humanitarian Award - recognizes alumni whose outstanding dedication and leadership significantly improve the lives of others and humanity's well-being. They embody UIC’s commitment to eliminating disparities in health, education and economic opportunity.

Distinguished Service Award - recognizes individuals or couples whose consistent and exceptional service to UIC has significantly contributed to the university’s well-being and the advancement of its mission.

Alumni Achievement Award - The highest honor bestowed by the University of Illinois Chicago Alumni Association recognize individuals whose exceptional success and national or international recognition in their fields demonstrates the value of a UIC education across a lifetime.

Nomination Form Tips:

Please be prepared to provide the following information when you begin a nomination:

  • Nominee’s preferred contact information, address, and UIC graduation year
  • A summary of why the nominee should be considered for the award
  • Nominee’s civic activities and/or philanthropic endeavors which support the nomination
  • Upload at least one letter of recommendation for the nominee

Note: Once you begin the nomination form, you must complete it as the platform does not allow users to save and return to an unfinished form (sorry).
