UIC enterprise email marketing tool and Webtools retirement
The new enterprise email marketing software/tool for UIC will be Emma Email Marketing.
The Webtools retirement date for UIC is Nov. 1. Other functionality within Webtools, like forms and surveys, will proceed with the previously announced retirement schedule.
There are no updates on the status of an enterprise-level design software/tool like Canva or Marq.
UIC Technology Solutions recommends using Qualtrics for forms and surveys. For simpler forms and surveys, it recommends Google Forms, Microsoft Forms, forms built into Red websites, and workflow tools in Box.
ShortURL application on Webtools will transition to UIC Technology Solutions and continue to be available to UIC faculty and staff.
