OTD student Megan Win ’18 MS OT, OT MS student Vivian Villegas and OT MS student Victoria Turnbull recently attended the American Occupational Therapy Association’s Hill Day in Washington D.C.

After a morning briefing with over 500 attendees, they fanned out across Capitol Hill to meet with staff and legislators to discuss AOTA legislative initiatives on home health care and treatment of opioid addiction.

They also organized a Virtual Hill Day at UIC for OT students and faculty, where OT students wrote messages to their legislators on these issues.
