Yochai Eisenberg is UIC PI on a project to Improve Disability and Transportation Data
Yochai Eisenberg, DHD Associate Professor is UIC PI on a new study funded through the Transit Cooperative Research Program and titled, Improving Inclusion by Addressing Gaps in Measuring Disability in Transportation Data Systems. Dr. Eisenberg will lead a two-year mixed-methods study that will engage people with disabilities, disability organizations, state and local governments, and the transportation industry. The research will result in a guide for practitioners to better include disability in various data collection systems within the transportation field. Dr. Eisenberg is collaborating with Transpo Group USA (PI), The University of Washington, and Drexel University.
