Akemi Nishida and Alyson Patsavas receive 2024 UIC Awards for Creative Activity Program grants

Akemi Nishida and Alyson Patsavas were awarded 2024 UIC Awards for Creative Activity Program grants, a seed funding program to support scholarship in the arts, humanities and social science, for their individual projects:

• Mapping the needs of multiple marginalized disabled people in disasters (Nishida)
• Pain in Relation: Cripistemologies, Chronicity and Crip Evidence (Patsavas)
