Alex Aruin is awarded the 2018 AHS Interdisciplinary Pilot Grant

PT professor Alex Aruin is the recipient of the 2018 AHS Interdisciplinary Pilot Grant Program award  for his research project, “Balance Control in Older Adults with Mild Cognitive Impairment.”

Aruin will collaborate with Geraldine Luna (UIC College of Medicine) and James Young (Rush University Medical Center) to examine a new balance rehabilitation approach in older adults with cognitive impairment.
