Allison Anderson and Jillian Prough win student awards from regional nutrition associations

Allison Anderson and Jillian Prough are recipients of a spring 2020 Chicago Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ (CAND) Outstanding Student Award. Prough is also a recipient of a spring 2020 Outstanding Dietetic Student Award from the Illinois Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
CAND wrote the following about Anderson in its award notification letter: “Your passion for nutrition and dietetics is clear through your involvement with CAND, AND, ACEND and SNA. Your references value your ability to be community centered, efficient, and caring, attributes that will assist you as you enter your career as a dietitian.”
To Prough, CAND wrote the following: “Your passion for nutrition and dietetics is clear through your involvement in SNA, IMMC, UIC’s Nutrition Teaching Garden and UI Health Child and Youth Center. You references describe you as professional, responsible, organized, detail oriented, and open minded, attributes that will assist you as you enter your career as a dietitian.”
