Deadlines extended to nominate faculty for Community Engagement, Diversity awards

The Office of Diversity, Equity and Engagement has extended the deadlines to nominate faculty for two awards, the Community Engagement Award and the Faculty Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Award, to March 25.

Community Engagement Award
The Community Engagement Award honors faculty for their achievements in community-based research, scholarship, service and teaching that addresses critical community needs, supports community advancement and promotes collaboration between UIC and community partners. The awarded faculty member will receive a one-time $5,000 payment.

Faculty Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Award
The Faculty Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Award recognizes extraordinary contributions and commitment by faculty to advancing diversity, equity and inclusion on our campus and/or in the communities it serves. The awarded faculty member will receive a one-time $5,000 payment.
