Jay Hsu wins a Golden Pen Award

DHD doctoral student Chih-Chieh (Jay) Hsu ’16 MS DHD is the recipient of the Chinese literature Golden Pen Award. Hsu will be awarded with second place along with a momentary prize of NT$30,000 (about US $1,000) and a golden pen on the new year eve in Taipei.

His article titled,“Starchasers” tells his personal story as a person with Retinitis Pigmentosa (RP) who has night blindness (the earliest symptom of RP) and inability to see stars in the sky.
