Navigating Allyship workshop required for all AHS faculty and staff

Dear AHS faculty and staff:

As you know, AHS has required that all faculty and staff in the college attend the AHS Navigating Allyship workshop offered by the UIC Gender and Sexuality Center. This workshop, which focuses on developing a beginning awareness of gender and sexual differences, reiterates AHS’s commitment to equity and justice for all AHS faculty and staff who are underrepresented in terms of gender identity or sexual orientation.

The first two workshops occurred on 9/24/20 and 10/20/20. Please complete the following very brief survey to document your attendance or explain your absence, here:  uic.ca1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_54n3yBl4coLcdpQ.

If you have not yet been able to attend the workshop, it will again be offered online on February 8th or on March 9th from 10:00 am – 12:30 pm. Again, your attendance at one of these workshops is required. To register, please click the photographic box corresponding to the date of your choice on the GWS webpage, here: gsc.uic.edu/allyship/.

If you have any question about this required training, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.

Sincerely,
Bo Fernhall, Dean
