Promotional tool kit for October health Career related programing

October is filled with career related programming specifically for Applied Health Sciences students and other students interested in the health fields.

The two program series are:

The Health Professions Forum: is now its fourth annual series with panelists that consist of AHS alumni and other representatives of alternative health professions from the traditional health career pathways.

    • In Person: Thursday, October 20, 2022 from 3:30 PM – 5:00 PM
    • Virtual: Wednesday, October 26, 2022 from 3:00 PM – 4:15 PM
    • TARGET AUDIENCE: Anyone but primarily exploring students

Grow your Gap Year: Enrich my healthcare experience panel and Action plan. If students are focused on professional school (i.e. medical school) they can hear about students who took and benefited from a GAP year. They will hear from panelists with experience in applying and have been being admitted into their competitive health program and then students will work on your own plan.

  • Note there is a separate “exploring service” opportunitiesĀ  on October 25, 2022 from 12:00 PM – 1:15 PM

MY REQUEST: Please spread the word to our student body in your courses and individual student meetings with our easy marketing materials.

Access our marketing folder for short template messaging for you to copy paste, flyers and more. I try to make it as simple as possible and made specific notes to you. Please use, and freely share this package to other professionals who work with undergraduate students.

Please let me know if you have any questions. Some of our AHS alumni include: Paola Solis and Austin Berryhill from kinesiology, and AnnaMaria Maraglia representing rehabilitation sciences.

If you or students have any questions regarding any of the programming, I welcome them to reach out to me.
