Introduction
BHIS assistant professor Ashley Hughes is a co-author of an article entitled, "Toward the Development of the Perfect Medical Team:
Critical Components for Adaptation," that has been accepted for publication in the Journal of Patient Safety. Improved teamwork has been linked to improvements in performance on clinical-based tasks, care quality, care coordination, patient satisfaction and patient health (including reduced patient mortality).
