Publication available: Eric Swirsky author of commentary on ethical care of suicidal outpatients

An invited commentary authored by BHIS professor Eric Swirsky entitled, Stroke, Suicide, and Professional Duty is available in the Journal of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R).  The commentary appears in the July edition’s Ethical Legal Feature on The Suicidal Outpatient: Balancing Autonomy, Trust, and Responsibilities, which addresses the intersection where mental health and rehabilitation care converge and raise ethical questions involving boundaries, duties, and the provider’s role in recovery, adjustment, and flourishing in the care of the patient.
