Sandy Sufian receives a Public Voices Fellowship

Sandy Sufian is a recipient of a 2020-21 Public Voices Fellowship from the University of Illinois System. As part of the fellowship, Sufian would like to “translate my expertise into commentaries that are readily understandable and that utilize people’s narratives as the starting point for rigorous, yet accessible analysis of social problems. I am particularly interested in writing essays relating  to medicine, health, and healthcare, and to child welfare, the family, and women’s issues.”
