Student volunteer opportunity: IGNITE campaign kickoff

Student volunteers are needed to staff the launch event for IGNITE: The Campaign for UIC on Saturday, October 28th.  The event takes place from 5:00 PM to 8:30 PM.

The Campaign Kick-off and Alumni Celebration is an inclusive, high-energy event that will:

• Publicly celebrate the fundraising campaign, share university fundraising goals and priorities, as well as progress to-date
• Launch the UIC Alumni Association and excite alumni guests about its future
• Reinforce UIC’s indispensable presence and build alumni pride

We are seeking student organizations and volunteers to partner with UIC Advancement in support of this historic event:

• Hours served will be added to UIC Connection and your co-curricular transcript, and will count for any students working towards the President’s Volunteer Service Award
• Volunteers can meet influential alumni and donors
• Free t-shirt and dinner provided to volunteers
