UIC Occupational Therapists present at AOTA Mental Health Specialty Conference

OT clinical assistant professor Celeste Januszewski was an invited speaker at the American Occupational Therapy Association’s (AOTA) Mental Health Specialty Conference in Indianapolis. Januszewski presented her work on the value of performance-based assessment for individuals wishing to transition from institutions to the community.

OTD student Kathryn Duke presented a poster on developing a self-management intervention for those with mental health issues and co-occurring diabetes. OTD student Leah Goodman presented a poster on implementing a well-being curriculum to provide supportive, mental health and disability services for university students.
