Application for Spring 2023 Graduation Deadline

The application for Spring 2023 graduation is due Friday, January 27, 2023.
All AHS undergraduate students must also notify their academic advisor of their intent to graduate and complete a final graduation check.
-If you applied in the fall term and did not graduate, you must submit another application for fall.
Instructions for Applying to Graduate:
– Login into the my.UIC portal – https://my.uic.edu/uPortal/f/welcome/normal/render.uP
– Click on the “Student” tab, then scroll down to “Intent to Graduate” button
– From the Main Menu, select “Graduation”
2) Applying to Graduate:
– Click “Apply to Graduate”
– Select term of graduation and click Submit.
– Select the curriculum from which you are graduating and click continue (NOTE: if your program information is incorrect, you will be able to make changes on the “Supplemental Data” page. If you are graduating from more than one program, you will have to go back in and submit a second application for your second degree after you have completed your first application. You can review your list of graduation applications by clicking the link at the bottom of the page.)
– Click the graduation date from the drop-down menu for the fall term and click continue. (NOTE: There is only one set graduate date option for the spring term. The graduation date for UIC is the same for all graduating students, generally the Sunday after finals week, regardless of your ceremony date.)
3) Verify the diploma name you want printed on your diploma. Click “Help” for information on how to change your name, if necessary. If you need to update your diploma name, please complete the Diploma Name Change Request form on the Registrar’s website. You contact the Office of Registration and Records at 312-996-4381 or firstname.lastname@example.org for additional questions, Click continue to move on to next page.
4) Verify diploma mailing address and click continue
– Review application summary in the my.uic student portal and click the “Submit Request” button after verifying application information. Your graduation application will not be submitted unless you click on “Submit Request.”

All students who submit their application for graduation by the deadline will receive updates regarding participation in the commencement ceremonies when available.
