Course Content Accessibility for Instructors

This week, I am sharing resources on course content accessibility for instructors. If you need support with your course content, there are resources and events to help you make it accessible to all.

Learning Technology Solutions is hosting the event YuJa Panorama Overview” today (February 3) at 2 pm, which introduces key features of YuJa Panorama to make your Canvas course and its content more accessible. We strongly recommend that all instructors attend this event or one of the upcoming LTS Canvas and Panorama events. You can also watch past recordings of LTS Canvas and Panorama events.

For resources on course content accessibility, explore the "accessible courses" section on the Inside AHS accessibility resources hub. There, you will find accessibility information for Blackboard, Canvas and overall course content.

One-on-one support is also available if you need more assistance with a specific issue. For issues related to instructional design, schedule online course support with an instructional designer. For general digital accessibility questions, attend a UIC Digital Accessibility Services drop-in consultation. AHS also offers one-on-one support. You can drop in during an AHS accessibility specialist's office hours or submit a support ticket.
