Eduardo Bustamante co-authors longitudinal study in Frontiers in Human Neuroscience
Kinesiology professor, Eduardo Bustamante, is a co-author on research article using a longitudinal design to look at the relationships between Grade 5 sleep, physical activity, and recreational screen time (RST) and Grade 9 cognition.
The convergent effects of primary school physical activity, sleep, and recreational screen time on cognition and academic performance in grade 9 found that greater sleep promotes cognition and greater RST impairs cognition.
