“A self-management program to prevent falls in ambulatory and non-ambulatory community dwelling people with multiple sclerosis” has been granted 4,000,000 kr from Forte, a Swedish government funding source.
The project’s overall aim is to develop, deliver and evaluate a fall prevention program for ambulatory and non-ambulatory people with multiple sclerosis (MS) who receive care through MS Centers in Stockholm.
The program will be developed through a collaborative co-design process involving people living with MS and health professionals with expertise in MS care. The program will address a variety of fall risk factors and utilize self-management strategies.
