Nobuo Ohshima from Tokyo Metropolitan University visits AHS

Nobuo Ohshima from Tokyo Metropolitan University and Mansha Mirza are participating in an international faculty exchange that focuses on understanding similarities and differences in the practice of occupational therapy in the USA and Japan, respectively. As part of the OT Scholarship of Practice lecture series, Ohshima presented “Effectiveness of Occupational Therapy Counseling-Based Psychology for persons with chronic health conditions.” During his visit Ohshima observed occupational therapy classes, labs and interprofessional education sessions. He also interviewed OT faculty members about their scholarship and clinical practice, and met with Carlos Crespo.
