Yochai Eisenberg and Delphine Labbé publish study examining implementation of the ADA in the journal Cities

Progress towards removing pedestrian barriers for disabled citizens is slow. Limited research has examined how communities with high-quality barrier-removal plans  have achieved their successes.  Yochai Eisenberg and Delphine Labbé published, “Planning accessible cities: Lessons from high quality barrier removal plans“an article that used an Implementation Science framework to code and describe the keys to high-quality implementation of the ADA in the journal Cities. Co-authors include DHD PhD student Amy Heider, Robert Gould and Robin Jones. Their findings will be disseminated through the Great Lakes ADA Center.
