AHS selected for $1 million grant from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Administration for Community Living

A team of AHS researchers have been selected to receive a $1 million grant ($200,000 over five years) from the Department of Health and Human Services Administration for Community Living for the project, “Advanced Training in Translational and Community-Engaged Scholarship to Improve Community Living and Participation of People with Disabilities.”

The five-year grant will fund the hiring of six post-doctorate fellows who will be mentored in community engaged scholarship to improve community living and participation of people with disabilities.

Tamar Heller is the PI and director. Yolanda Balcazar Suarez, Anthony Faiola, Alexander Aruin and Angela Odoms-Young are Co-PIs.
