About
Dr. Ingram, a licensed clinical psychologist, provides diagnostic services for adults with a wide range of developmental disabilities as well as mental health consultation and psychotherapy for adults who are dually diagnosed with a developmental disability and a mental health problem. In her 25 years at the Family Clinics, Dr. Ingram has had the opportunity to work with clients across the lifespan. She has a holistic/strengths based approach to her work with adults with developmental disabilities. Dr. Ingram has supervised many clinical practicum students and coordinated a didactic seminar for graduate trainees. She has particularly valued the opportunity to train future psychologists in working with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, an area that is not generally covered well in graduate programs. She has presented on a variety of topics related to developmental disabilities and developmental/clinical psychology. Dr. Ingram received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Northwestern University. She completed her predoctoral clinical internship at the Illinois State Psychiatric Institute, working on UIC Dept. of Psychiatry’s Research Unit.
