About

Kelsey Gabel, RD, PhD is an assistant professor in the department of Kinesiology and Nutrition. Her program of research is to examine alternatives to daily calorie restriction, such as intermittent fasting, combined with different modalities of exercise to improve the quality of life and long-term health of women diagnosed with breast cancer and during and after the menopause transition. She aims to create culturally appropriate, bilingual, equitable and accessible interventions that may address health disparities in these groups.
