About
Dr. Alyssa Jones is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy at the University of Illinois-Chicago (UIC). She received her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in 2012 from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and then her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from UIC 2016. Her passion for treating individuals with neurologic conditions led her to complete Boston University’s Neurologic Residency Program and receive her Board Certification in neurologic specialty practice. She has extensive clinical experience in the acute inpatient rehabilitation setting at the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab, specializing in the delivery of gait interventions to individuals with stroke, spinal cord injury, brain injury, and Parkinson’s disease.
