About
Sarah is an occupational therapist serving children and families receiving services through Early Intervention. She graduated with her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from the University of Illinois at Chicago, during which she created a continuing education workshop for occupational therapists on coaching families from undeserved communities in Early Intervention. Sarah is passionate about building off of families’ strengths and fostering the bond between children and caregivers through everyday activities and play. She is particularly interested in supporting caregiver wellness, co-regulation, and children’s social-emotional learning. Sarah also strives to promote equity in health care and increase access to resources for communities that have historically experienced disenfranchisement.
