About
Hello, my name is Jennifer Hernández, and I am a first-generation double alum from the University of Illinois Chicago.
I have years of work experience in social services, private and public Research 1 universities. As the Assistant Director of the Urban Health Program in the College of Applied Health Sciences, I aim to connect with students from underserved and underrepresented communities to equip them and support them in their college journey and graduate/professional school readiness. While helping them see how their degree(s) completion benefits their communities and impacts healthcare systems.
