About
I am an orthopedic physical therapy resident at the University of Illinois Chicago. I earned my Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from UIC in 2024 and completed my undergraduate studies at William Jewell College in 2016, where I majored in Spanish and Psychological Sciences with an emphasis in Pre-Physical Therapy. During my time at William Jewell, I was a member of the soccer team, where I spent as much time in rehab for knee injuries as I did on the field—an experience that sparked my interest in how physical therapy can help individuals navigate the particularly stressful time of dealing with pain and injury. Now, my clinical interests focus on working with lower extremity athletes and integrating a biopsychosocial approach to managing chronic pain. I’m pursuing a residency to deepen my clinical expertise through mentorship and focused education, appreciating UIC’s approach which allows ample time for reflection and discussion.
