About

Dr. Oddo is an epidemiologist whose research focuses on the social and economic determinants of nutrition-related health. Currently, Dr. Oddo is leading an NIH-funded study investigating the role of precarious working conditions on obesity and cardiovascular disease, and the extent to which precarious employment contributes to health disparities. She also studies the impacts of nutrition policies (e.g. sugary beverage taxes, the National School Lunch Program, SNAP) and has expertise in investigating the determinants of obesity and the diet quality of populations using big data (e.g. NHANES).
