AHS Distinguished Alumni Achievement Award

Established in 1987, this is the highest honor bestowed upon alumni of the UIC College of Applied Health Sciences (by the college’s current or former names). It is presented to alumni who have attained outstanding success and national or international distinction in their chosen profession or life’s work, and whose accomplishments reflect admirably on or bring honor to their alma mater.

AHS Loyalty Award

This award is bestowed upon alumni of the UIC College of Applied Health Sciences (by the college’s current or former names) who have made significant, notable and meritorious contributions, and who have consistently demonstrated exceptional loyalty, commitment, dedication and service to the college and/or one of its departments for the advancement of their alma mater.

AHS New Alum Award

UIC College of Applied Health Sciences alumni are a wide array of interesting and accomplished people. To celebrate, we honor up to two recent alumni (graduated within 10 years) whose careers and lives are on the rise.

AHS Service Award

This award is presented to alumni whose voluntary and/or professional contributions have significantly improved or enriched the lives of others and the welfare of their communities on a local, national or international scale.  The award honors individuals who, through their service, demonstrate a passion for social justice; seek to promote health equity; and advocate for the full inclusion and participation of all in society.
