The Behavioral Intervention for Physical Activity in Multiple Sclerosis-Cognition (BIPAMS-Cognition) study examines the effectiveness of internet-delivered programs for lifestyle behavior change among persons with MS who have cognitive processing speed impairment.
We propose to study the feasibility and effectiveness of a novel non-invasive brain stimulation paradigm, that can be administered at home with remote supervision, to slow progression of disease and preserve motor function in individuals with ALS.

The Strive to Thrive project in Florida is a pilot study that uses a mixed-methods approach—including an environmental scan, focus groups, and a statewide survey—to understand and address the unique needs of aging family caregivers supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, serving as the foundation for a newly expanded national study.
The CAN will work to identify state priorities in existing services for people with dual diagnosis, develop sustainable training to promote ongoing collaboration between the IDD and mental health systems, and consider any needed changes in policies and practices to promote access to services.
The overall goal of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of a small-group, stroke-specific, self-management program delivered via telehealth to improve self-efficacy, activity performance, and quality of life in individuals with sub-acute stroke.

MindWalk is a 12-week pilot randomized control trial (RCT) study exploring the feasibility and preliminary efficacy of a mindful walking intervention that combines physical activity and cognitive training to reduce psychological stress, enhance cognitive function, and increase self-efficacy among older South Asian family caregivers of individuals with cognitive disabilities.
