GestureTips

Researchers at University of Illinois Chicago are investigating how we can improve the discoverability of gesture-based interactions in a virtual reality environment. This research involves interacting with a virtual reality application where you will be asked to perform certain tasks.

The study sessions will be conducted in the month of November, and will be audio, video, and screen recorded. You will also be answering questions about your interaction experience and yourself.

Participants will be given a $15 gift card for participating in the study.

We expect that these observations will last a maximum of 120 minutes. Participants have the right to choose to participate or not participate in the study. Your relationship with UIC will not be impacted in any way by your decision to participate or not.

Please fill out this interest form https://forms.gle/pfKcCMVB1F7ohuAg8 if you are interested in participating in the study. We will reach out to schedule a time.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact Vedant Nandoskar (vnand@uic.edu), Dr Nikita Soni (nnsoni@uic.edu), or Dr Mohan Zalake (zalake@uic.edu).
