Kal Pasupathy

Dr. Pasupathy is an expert in systems science and informatics, focused on both advancing the science and translating knowledge to improve health, well-being and care delivery, demonstrated through his academic and practice leadership roles. He has founded and directed research and practice transformation programs, and has over 20 years of experience leading and pioneering efforts in transforming large health care institutions and social service organizations. He has conducted several projects using federal, practice and benefactor funds. His teams have won awards, hold patents and inventions that have been licensed and commercialized. He has mentored learners at the undergraduate, graduate and post-doctoral levels including data scientists, engineers, clinical residents/fellows, physicians and administrators. His advisees hold positions as faculty, scientists, healthcare leaders in various top organizations. He is a prolific writer and has published number of scholarly articles and two editions of a book on health informatics.
