MS in Kinesiology

Our Clinical Exercise Physiology concentration prepares you to become an American College of Sports Medicine Certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist

Providing family-centered, culturally competent comprehensive services to individuals with developmental disabilities and their families.

The Developmental Disabilities Family Clinic aims to maximize potential with a real focus on quality of life. Its clinical staff take a holistic, multidisciplinary approach to providing services for individuals (ages 3+) with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. Services are provided within the resource-rich academic environment of the Institute on Disability and Human Development, the University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities for the State of Illinois. We transcend our physical space and extend into the community, collaborating with and serving as a resource for community-based agencies, schools and organizations. Its licensed and credentialed team includes social workers, speech-language pathologists, licensed professional counselors, physicians and clinical psychologists.

It’s great that there are services available for my son no matter what age he is. The transition from early intervention to early childhood therapy was seamless.
