The National HSI STEAM Innovation Challenge provides opportunities for all students using Apple’s Challenge-Based Learning framework to investigate real-world questions, learn through hands-on exploration, and create technology-enabled projects rooted in their culture, communities, and lived experiences.
Students, as individuals or teams, will create digital solutions within the theme of Culture is Currency with a guiding question of:
“How can we transform cultural value into opportunity for ourselves and our communities?”
To learn more about the National Challenge, all UIC students, faculty, colleges, and community groups are invited to the UIC National Challenge Launch event on Thursday, October 15th.
