About
As a fellow Chicagoan, it is my joy to help students at UIC. I’ve worked in academic advising since 2018 across three different colleges. What I love most about serving and teaching college students is helping them "put the puzzle pieces together," especially my fellow first-generation students. Aside from working in higher education, I teach POUND Fitness, a group fitness format that incorporates rhythmic drumming. I also manage my social media, @DIYsWithTy, which highlights my crafting skills. Lastly, I am a proud member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated. I look forward to expanding my passions and interests at UIC!
