About
Teaching Interests
Sherri teaches Community Nutrition, Nutrition Education, and Public Health Nutrition. She also develops and implements hands-on educational experiences for students through partnerships with community organizations.
She has been a community educator for over twenty years, with over a decade leading and training community health workers through the University of Illinois Extension's Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP). She is dedicated to supporting peer-education as a key component of nutrition related health interventions.
