About
Dr. Joel Hardwick is a Visiting Clinical Assistant Professor and is the Director of the Cardiac Rehabilitation program in the Physical Therapy Faculty Practice. He received his BS and MS in Exercise Science from Georgia State University and DCEP from the Clinical Exercise Physiology program at the University of Illinois Chicago.
Dr. Hardwick's interests are in exploring applications of clinical exercise physiology in diabetes management, exercise oncology, and cardiac rehabilitation. He has had extensive experience working in clinical settings providing exercise-based services for cardiac/pulmonary, bariatric, diabetic, oncology, and geriatric populations.
