About
Dr. Hibbing studies how health-related variables are measured. His main interests are energy balance, physical behavior (sleep, sedentary behavior, and physical activity), blood pressure, and interstitial glucose. By developing new and improved ways to measure those variables and their diurnal patterns, Dr. Hibbing hopes to generate specific health insights directly, while also helping to enrich health science more broadly. Wearable technologies are the main way he investigates these possibilities.
