Ryan has a B.S. in Disability and Human Development and over 4 years of experience advancing accessibility in higher education, including accessibility consulting, disability rights legal research, and assistive technology testing. She is skilled in ADA and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) compliance, as well as plain language communication.
As a Junior Accessibility Specialist for the College of Applied Health Sciences, Ryan is developing the strategy for the College's digital accessibility initiative. She evaluates and remediates website accessibility issues and serves as a point person for faculty and staff seeking guidance on making their digital content accessible.
