About

Angélica Martínez Pérez is a Visiting Clinical Assistant Professor at the Department of Disability and Human Development. Dr. Martínez Pérez received her doctorate in Disability Studies from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Her research intersects assistive technology, disability, and healthcare disparities. Dr. Martínez Pérez works with Hispanics and community agencies, providing bilingual training (Spanish and English) to enhance knowledge and awareness of assistive technology services and devices and promote empowerment.
