About

Max Newlin currently serves as the Program/Student Advisor for the Co-Operative Career Experience Certificate Program, a pre-baccalaureate certificate for students with intellectual disabilities that is funded by a federal Transition and Post-Secondary Program for Students with Intellectual Disabilities (TPSID) grant (2020-2025).

He has prior experience working in the disability resource center at Northwestern University and the Employment Services Program at Thresholds.

Max is currently a MSW student at the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign. As a future social worker, his research interests include career development for people with disabilities, workplace accessibility, and neurodiversity affirming therapy.
