About
Dr. Wescott teaches the "Experiential Learning in the Health Sciences" series as well as "Health Interprofessional Seminar" within the Rehabilitation Sciences Program. Her work at UIC is guided by her passion for student success and wellbeing, with a focus on instructional and community-level approaches that facilitate engagement, equity, and the co-creation of meaningful, integrative learning experiences. She serves as co-faculty advisor for the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) Open School Chapter at UIC and is an Honors College Fellow. Dr. Wescott is a pediatric occupational therapist who has practiced in the home, school, and clinic settings.

Service to the Community
Jennifer served as Therapeutic Programming Coordinator at GiGi's Playhouse Chicago from 2016-2018 and is currently an Associate Board Member for the Neighborhood Boys and Girl's Club (NBGC).
