The Medical Exercise Therapy (MET) Clinic helps patients adopt and maintain a physically active lifestyle, especially those at risk for or living with chronic health conditions.
Clinical exercise physiologists work directly with patients to dispel exercise-related myths, set realistic health goals, and design individualized exercise programs that enhance physical fitness, quality of life, and overall well-being.

Exercise interventions include
- A minimum of eight in-person exercise sessions tailored to individual needs
- One-hour sessions that may combine aerobic, resistance, and balance training
- Education and exercise supervision from Clinical Exercise Physiologists
- Customized home exercise programs
- Guidance for transitioning to community or fitness center programs
Who qualifies?
Our programs in the Medical Exercise Therapy Clinic are open to anyone interested in becoming more physically active and improving their health.
Depending on your medical history and current health status, you may need to provide documentation from your physician confirming that it’s safe for you to begin an exercise program.
