If you have any questions regarding the Empowerment Liaisons, contact Renee Taylor.
Empowerment Liaisons
AHS Empowerment Liaisons are college faculty and staff who are strongly committed to empowering wellness and building coping resources. Liaisons serve as a referral source for AHS faculty, staff and students on available mental health and wellness services. Each liaison has undergone mental health first aid training and is prepared to have introductory conversations with students to link them to appropriate resources that address their concerns. Faculty and staff may utilize the liaisons to facilitate connecting students to resources. Students may reach out directly to liaisons. Everyone can benefit from additional support from time to time, so all members of the AHS community are encouraged to connect with a liaison to navigate the many resources available, should the need arise.
Empowerment Liaisons are nominated by their respective unit heads. Anyone seeking to become a liaison may contact Eileen Doran and/or Renee Taylor.
