Northwestern University, Feinberg School of Medicine

who will present:

“A Novel Approach to Writing Research Proposals: Rhetorical Patterns, Learning a Complex Skill, Coaching Groups, and Oral Feedback”

The seminar will introduce a novel approach to teaching and learning the complex skill of writing research proposals, particularly for NIH. The method has been developed by Dr. McGee over the past 20 years, and is the focus of his faculty development efforts at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. Based on its established effectiveness, it is one of 4 grant wring coaching group models being expanded to national reach through the NIH-funded National Research Mentoring Network (NRMN).
