The Supreme Court’s Decision on the Use of Race-Conscious Admissions: Impact to Public Health Schools
and Options for Compliance.

This webinar will delve into the court’s recent ruling that eliminates the use of race in admissions for higher education institutions and examine its implications for schools of public health. Additionally, we will explore strategies to continue recruiting minority students into higher education institutions and foster diversity within the public health workforce.

During the session, Dean Matthew will engage in a dialogue with the audience, discussing the development of campaign messages to promote workforce diversity in public health.

The webinar is scheduled for May 15, 2024, from 1:00 to 2:15 pm CT (2:00 to 3:15 pm ET). The National Hispanic Health Foundation, the University of Illinois Chicago College of Applied Health Science, and the School of Public Health at Indiana University Bloomington support this event.
