Liz Peterson delivers two invited lectures on fall prevention at local universities

OT clinical professor Liz Peterson delivered a lecture titled, “Supporting Management of Diverse Fall Risk Factors among People with Multiple Sclerosis: Evidence-based Strategies” at Midwestern University as part of the Midwestern University Seminar External Series on Sept. 15.

On Sept. 20 Peterson provided a presentation titled, “Community-based Fall Prevention Programs: Strategies to Support Older Adults’ Access to Evidence-based Options” at Rush University Medical Center (RUMC). That presentation was made in association with the Rush Generations-sponsored event Balance and Preventing Falls As We Age hosted by RUMC in honor of Fall Prevention Awareness Day 2017.
